The influence of roll gap shape is not the value of roll elastic flattening, but the different size of flattening value along the length direction of roll body. For the work roll, if the rolling force is evenly distributed along the width of the strip, the elastic flattening of the work roll is also evenly distributed. Because the touch length between the work roll and the support roll is greater than that between the strip steel and the work roll, the pressure at each point on the touch length is different, which makes the elastic flattening value between the roll and the roll uneven along the length direction of the roll body. (5) The original roll profile of the roll (convex, concave or cylindrical). If the original roll shape of the roll is different, the roll gap shape can be artificially different.
